Looking to capitalize on the growing popularity of the sport, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) produced a limited number of promotions in the early 1970's that have remained hobby favorites. This presentation offers complete sets of two of those promotions. Includes: - 1972 NFLPA Football Fabric Cards Near Set (32/35) - Missing Greene, Little and Plunkett for completion. These fabric cards are actually "iron-on" cloth patches showcasing 35 of the NFL's top players. The roster is highlighted by: Blanda, Bradshaw, Butkus, Csonka, Dawson, Griese, Deacon Jones, Manning, Namath, Sayers, Simpson, Staubach, Warfield and Unitas. Overall, the set grades EX/MT to NM/MT with some slightly lesser;
- 1972 NFLPA Football Vinyl Stickers Complete Set (20). The superstar roster more than made up for the lack of colorful team logos. The lineup includes: Anderson, Blanda, Bradshaw, Butkus, Gordon, Greene, Johnson SP, Namath, Plunkett, Staubach, Unitas, Warfield plus others. Overall, the set grades NM to NM/MT;
